Remnants of glassine hinges; otherwise pristine condition. A rich impression with velvety drypoint burr. Printed on cream wove paper. Signed and titled in pencil. $20,000 the complete set.

Campbell Dodgson, C.B.E., Keeper of Prints and Drawings at the British Museum wrote: "Death Waits, tall, erect, in cowl and shroud gathered closely round his bones, by the side of a fallen man, whose hands clutch the soil of a bank before him. His life depends on the outcome of that deliberate reflection." Print Collector's Quarterly 8 (1921): 325-26.
