A fine impression in excellent condition, apart from two tack holes in the left margin, well outside the image. Subtle shading; gauffrage in the feathers. Illustrated: Crows, Cranes & Camellias, catalogue 158, #S14.6, pp. 154., 158. A dramatic rendering of two Egret (egretta garzetta) flying through willow branches. Watanabe 6-mm seal, indicating an impression printed between 1946-57. $5,000 Description: A white egret stands on a rainy night. This is one of Koson's most popular designs.
