An extremely rich, tonal impression printed on cream laid paper with wide margins. Signed in pencil. Housed in a 19th-century gilt and gesso deep-cove frame; frame measurements are 19 1/2 x 17 3/8 x 3. The frame features an extremely deep cove and extremely high hollow, with three different running ornaments with leaf motifs. $1,750.
The model is the artist's first wife Anaïs Folin. An impression was exhibited at the RE 1921 (no. 189).
