Rosenberg's first published print of 1927 was a drypoint of the Royal Insurance Building of Canada in New York. From his personal journal we know that it was executed on January 18th in London and that 108 proofs were printed on 'modern' paper and signed.
The alternate name of the building is the Royal Globe Insurance Company Building. It is located in the financial district of Manhattan, 150 William Street to Gold Street, Fulton to Ann Streets. The architects were Starrett & Van Vleck, for whom Rosenberg worked. The style is neo-classical.
