Sweet briar is a rose bush. It is thorny, and has very attractive white flowers during the late spring. The fruit matures in late summer and is shed in autumn. The fruits can be made into an essential oil that hydrates, softens and revitalizes skin. They can be made into Vitamin C that helps alleviate arthritis pain and swelling.
