Muriel Hare (1890-1964) was a painter and printmaker of landscapes, town scenes and figure subjects. She was born in Chichester, West Sussex. Muriel Hare exhibited at the Royal Academy from 1931, also at the Royal Society of British Artists, Royal Institute of Oil Painters, and the Society of Women Artists. She lived in London for many years, in Chelsea, then Holland Park and finally in Ladbroke Square, Notting Hill, London W11 and had a studio nearby in Chepstow Crescent.
