A small, unobtrusive tear at the right-edge of the fountain has been professionally repaired and inpainted, as well as two tiny holes in the sky. The painting has been professionally cleaned and restored;and is now in near-pristine condition. Signed 'Gisson' lower left. They frame the obelisk and are aligned with the Rue Royale, Madeleine Church and Pont de la Concorde.
